Preferred Requirements:
- Proven expertise in building and operating production-ready data pipelines, with a strong background in SQL, Python, and PySpark/Spark.
- Proficiency in building REST API integrations, with a solid understanding of data modelling, ETL/ELT patterns, and modern data warehousing concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric (or equivalent lakehouse platform), Power BI Direct Lake semantic models, and Azure services (Key Vault, Blob Storage, Entra ID).
- Demonstrated ability to apply data security, privacy (including GDPR), and governance principles in your engineering work.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and a methodical approach to root-cause analysis, with the ability to communicate technical decisions to non-technical stakeholders.
