Delighted to be partnering on an exclusive basis to recruit for a HR Director to be based out of Peterborough for two days a week. You will have a small team that you will lead, coach and mentor, reporting directly into the CEO. You will thrive on shaping the future of the business by strategically driving the people agenda and culture. The company has strong and ambitious growth plans, and your role will be pivotal to achieving this success.

Key Deliverables:

  • Providing professional advice to management in all areas of People and Culture, including learning and development, employment law, best practice and retention and recruitment.
  • Create and oversee the plan for diversity, equality, and inclusion that aligns with company values, business strategy and commitments.
  • Implementing a continuous improvement agenda with focus on engagement and culture, maximising productivity, encouraging line managers and the leadership team to take accountability.
  • Present to the CEO on HR metrics and KPIs.
  • Review the EVP strategy and make improvements where necessary.
  • Challenge and review current recruitment and talent attraction strategies.

The Right Candidate:

  • Needs to be passionate about managing a HR Function that delivers a ‘best in class’ HR service delivery to all employees and fosters a collaborative culture that empowers people.
  • A proven track record.
  • Will take ownership and accountability for driving the People Agenda.
  • Will be able to adapt to change, work flexibly and be resilient.
  • Needs to be solution orientated.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualified desirable.
  • Experience in a HR management role managing key HR projects.
  • Strong IT skills, HR Databases, PowerPoint presentations.
  • Ideally have experience within the Retail or FMCG industry (not essential).
