Full Job Description

As part of their exciting expansion plans, they are seeking a Head of Risk & Compliance – this is a newly created position.

The role

• Effectively designing and building a robust, new risk management framework and embedding within the business
• Effectively designing and executing an audit plan for the business
• Engaging senior level stakeholders to take them on a \’risk journey\’ and driving a risk management culture with full support and backing from the board
• This is effectively a \’greenfield site\’ and a chance to really \’put your own slant on it\’
• Engaging with senior stakeholders to support the identification and management of key risks and to promote effective governance, risk management, control and assurance.
• Developing an effective and proportionate risk framework, that aligns with the Group’s strategic objectives and risk appetite.
• Developing the internal audit and compliance methodology and plan
• Preparing clear, concise, and timely audit reports.
• Reporting to the Risk and Compliance Committee and the Group Company boards.
• Developing a high performing compliance and internal audit team across the business

The Person

– IRM/ACA/ACCA/Internal Audit Qualification will be of particular interest but is not essential

– Knowledge of developing and embedding risk management frameworks from scratch will also be of particular interest
