Broster Buchanan are delighted to be the exclusive recruitment partner to a business that continues to grow year on year, and is looking to add an ambitious technical accountant to join the team.

Reporting into a dynamic and personable senior leadership team, this is a broad role where you will have exposure across controls, statutory reporting, tax, and projects such as acquisitions and systems implementation.

Key Duties Include:

1. Preparing group management accounts with associated commentary
2. Supporting statutory accounts production alongside external accountancy firm
3. Leading external audit requirements
4. Completing quarterly VAT returns and wider tax queries
5. Carrying out regular reconciliations
6. Reviewing and improving controls and processes where relevant

Suitable applicants will likely either be working in, or have trained in an accountancy practice, and hold an ACA/ACCA or equivalent qualification. Consideration will also be given to those who have group technical experience gained purely in industry.
