Broster Buchanan are working with a market leading manufacturing organisation, based near Gloucester, to appoint a hands on and commercially minded Financial Controller. As Financial Controller you will take ownership of the day-to-day reporting and financial control environment and support the wider business with accurate reporting, robust controls and commercial insight.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the end-to-end production of accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and KPIs
- Ensure full statutory compliance, managing the year-end audit process
- Continuously review and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes
- Partnered with business to build a data-driven standard costing model for market, customer profitability
- Lead the annual budgeting process and deliver robust, rolling financial forecasts
- Provide operational business performance improvement through the delivery of insightful financial reporting and business insight
The successful candidate will be ACA/ ACCA/ CIMA qualified or equivalent with strong reporting and business partnering skills within a manufacturing or operational environment. Excellent communication skills are essential as there is a requirement to work closely with multiple senior stakeholders.
