Finance Manager - £350 - £450 A Day

Reed Finance are exclusively supporting a growing SME in their search for a fully qualified Finance Manager (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) to join their business on a permanent basis for two full days per month. This is an office-based role offering significant flexibility and autonomy, making it ideal for someone seeking portfolio work, supplementary income, semi-retirement, or a position alongside other professional commitments. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will take ownership of the finance function, providing accurate financial reporting, commercial insight, and strategic support to help drive business performance. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and presentation of monthly management accounts Providing financial analysis and commercial insights to support decision-making Reviewing business performance, including profit and loss reporting and variance analysis against budget Overseeing month-end processes, including journals, accruals and prepayments Maintaining the fixed asset register and ensuring accurate balance sheet reconciliations Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning Managing year-end processes and acting as key contact for external accountants and auditors Ensuring ongoing compliance with VAT, HMRC and statutory reporting requirements Reviewing and strengthening financial controls, processes and reporting procedures Working with the Managing Director to provide strategic financial guidance and support business growth initiatives About You: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or Senior xdjnayx Management Accountant position Strong experience producing management accounts and providing commercial financial insight Confident communicating financial information to non-financial stakeholders Able to work independently and take ownership of the finance function Experience within an SME environment would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional seeking a highly flexible role where they can utilise their expertise, contribute to business success and enjoy an outstanding work-life balance.
