Key responsibilities:

  • Taking full ownership of the finance function as the number one in finance
  • Delivering clear, concise, and insightful financial reporting to support decision-making
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Acting as a commercial partner to the leadership team
  • Driving improvements in financial controls, processes, and governance
  • Leading and executing systems implementations and upgrades to support scale
  • Enhancing MI and reporting capability to provide real-time business insight
  • Managing cashflow, working capital, and financial risk
  • Building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing finance team

Key requirements:

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
  • Either: A Financial Controller / Head of Finance ready to step into your first FD role, or An experienced Finance Director with a track record in scale-up or high-growth environments
  • Proven experience driving systems improvements or leading finance system implementations
  • Strong ability to communicate financial information in a clear, concise, and impactful way
  • Commercially minded, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
  • Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
