Key responsibilities:
- Taking full ownership of the finance function as the number one in finance
- Delivering clear, concise, and insightful financial reporting to support decision-making
- Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
- Acting as a commercial partner to the leadership team
- Driving improvements in financial controls, processes, and governance
- Leading and executing systems implementations and upgrades to support scale
- Enhancing MI and reporting capability to provide real-time business insight
- Managing cashflow, working capital, and financial risk
- Building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing finance team
Key requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Either: A Financial Controller / Head of Finance ready to step into your first FD role, or An experienced Finance Director with a track record in scale-up or high-growth environments
- Proven experience driving systems improvements or leading finance system implementations
- Strong ability to communicate financial information in a clear, concise, and impactful way
- Commercially minded, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
- Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
