Broster Buchanan are delighted to be partnering with a hugely impressive business that's been experiencing year on year growth. If you are a people person who enjoys getting into the heart of the operation to analyse, understand and support improvements across operations and commercial, you will want to find out more. Full training will be given to round out your experience should you have a bias towards operational or commercial experience to date. The business is big enough to provide development and challenge, but small enough you can drive through improvements and ideas without layers of management.

Key Duties:

  • Support operational managers to influence decision making and drive factory efficiencies
  • Maintaining costing models and facilitating adhoc requests
  • Weekly and month reporting - fairly simplistic, freeing up more time for value add
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Support commercial and procurement teams with new business opportunities, tender processes etc
  • Support across a range of ongoing projects
  • Develop reporting across tools like Power BI and become a superuser for the site management control and reporting system

Suitable Applicants:

  • Above all you will be an enquiring and driven individual that wants to be accountable
  • An FMCG background is preferred given the pace of the operation
  • Experience and a desire to continue your career in FMCG is more important than qualification; however, a CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or part qualification is helpful
  • Solid experience across ERP systems and complicated spreadsheets
