We're looking for an experienced IT Project Delivery Manager with retail business experience as well as having undergone significant technology and platform change. You will act as a key communicator between multiple stakeholder groups, helping identify risks that others may not see, facilitating informed decision-making, and ensuring the business is fully prepared for key platform releases and cutovers.
What you'll be doing:
- Leading change readiness activities for major platform and technology releases
- Creating and owning cutover and rollback plans to support successful deployments
- Maintaining RAID logs and proactively managing risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
- Facilitating cross-functional meetings and workshops across technology, product, transformation, and business teams
- Producing clear readiness assessments and executive-level status reporting
- Translating technical complexity into clear options, impacts, and recommendations for senior stakeholders
- Building alignment across teams that operate within different reporting lines and priorities
- Driving governance and decision-making throughout the change lifecycle
- Owning hypercare activities following deployment, including KPI tracking, trend analysis, issue management, and structured review meetings
- Ensuring a smooth transition from project delivery into business-as-usual operations
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as an IT Project Delivery Manager, Change Manager, Release Manager, Technical Change Lead, or similar role within large-scale technology environments
- Essential experience within retail organisations
- Strong technical understanding, with the ability to identify operational, technical, and business risks before they become issues
- Experience managing complex platform deployments, cutovers, and post-go-live support activities
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at both technical team and executive level
- Ability to influence without direct authority and build alignment across siloed functions
- Strong facilitation, governance, and reporting experience
- Comfortable operating at a strategic and roadmap level while remaining hands-on when it comes to cutover planning and execution
