Broster Buchanan are delighted to be the exclusive recruitment partner for a large North Cambridgeshire organisation, as they look to hire a Group Financial Accounting Manager.

You will take ownership of statutory reporting, regulatory compliance, VAT, and group consolidation for an organisation demonstrating consistent year on year expansion. This role is pivotal in ensuring financial integrity across the group, working closely with auditors, regulators, and executive stakeholders. You will also provide leadership to a team of four, driving high standards and supporting professional growth.

  • Lead on the production of statutory accounts for all group companies, including group consolidation, in partnership with external auditors.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, coordinating the annual audit process.
  • Evaluate short-term deposit options and present recommendations to the Executive.
  • Manage the production of Central Office management accounts and budgeting.
  • Work with external consultants to complete corporation tax returns.
  • Act as a key finance lead on projects such as system upgrades and process changes.

Fully qualified accountant (ACA preferred, although CIMA or ACCA with strong experience will be considered). Strong technical accounting knowledge with proven statutory reporting and consolidation experience. Advanced Excel skills, confident working with large volumes of data. Highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities - willing to put in additional hours during peak periods.
