Broster Buchanan are recruiting for a Payroller on a 6 month contract to be based in Peterborough. To ensure a robust and flawless monthly payroll service is provided and customer expectations are met. You will be responsible for circa 1300 employees.
- Responsible for own payroll from start to finish.
- Prioritise workloads to ensure deadlines and service levels are met.
- Provide administrative support to colleagues and other teams.
- Owning and co-ordinating some monthly International Payrolls.
- Support the UK Payroll Manager in systems upgrade testing and payroll system maintenance.
- Ensure HMRC RTI submissions are accurate, completed and submitted within timescales.
- Work closely with UK Payroll Manager to ensure tax year end reporting to HMRC, closure of old tax year and setting up payroll for new tax year.
- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports.
- Administer reconciliation of flexible benefit scheme, gain approval and instruct Finance re payment.
- Answer queries and be technical expert on payroll for key customers and stakeholders.
- Any other key activities to process payrolls in an effective and timely manner.
- Attend service reviews with key customers for payrolls worked on.
- Assist the UK Payroll Manager as required.
