You are someone who is as comfortable interacting as a Finance Business Partner with a range of different people at different levels as you are in getting stuck into producing the monthly management accounts. You want a role where you can develop yourself and your team and always look to improve finance processes and procedures and help to make the complex simple for the budget holders you challenge and support.

You will contribute directly to the development and implementation of financial strategy; identifying and managing financial risks. You will ensure all aspects of the busy finance office incorporating financial plans, forecasts, statutory returns, monthly accounts are prepared effectively, robustly and accurately and that they provide a basis for sound strategic and operational decision making.

You will deputise for the Head of Finance and line manage and lead the finance team being responsible for managing workload and developing and motivating the team. As an experienced finance manager / finance business partner you'll have honed your experience a broad range of finance tasks, but in particular will have a track record across finance business partnering and leading, managing and developing staff and will enjoy getting the best out of your team and helping them to progress their skills.

You may be a high performing finance business partner with some management experience who is looking to take the next step in their career or someone who is already operating at a similar level, but looking for a new challenge in a supportive and interesting environment. You will ideally be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA / CIPFA) or you will have substantial finance business partnering and staff management experience within a similar complex organisation.
