Our client, a small to medium sized consumer credit firm, seeks a Head of/ Director of Enterprise Risk.
The Organisation
A unique and dynamic brand and a leader in consumer credit, this is an exciting business to be a part of. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will be responsible for the following:
- Enhancing and embedding the firm's enterprise risk management framework across all business units.
- Engaging and influencing senior level stakeholders (board and C-suite) to drive a risk management culture across the firm.
- Monitoring adherence to the company's risk appetite statement.
- Running the Enterprise Risk Management committee - being responsible for and having oversight of all submissions, inputs and outputs.
- Overseeing and developing a small team of operational risk professionals.
- Managing and mitigating all areas of risk: operational risk, credit risk, regulatory risk, liquidity, market risk, legal risk, model risk.
- Embedding the enterprise risk management framework and having full responsibility for the 2nd line function with good engagement and understanding of 1st line.
You will be:
- An experienced, senior level enterprise risk professional.
- Have demonstrable experience of consumer credit (from within a consumer credit firm or consumer credit function within a bank).
