Job Description
Broster Buchanan is proud to be partnering with a Private Equity-backed consultancy firm with a growing footprint in the renewable energy sector as they hire an FP&A Analyst.Supporting both regional and group-level activity, this role requires full ownership of forecasting and budgeting models across the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow. Experience working with complex or incomplete data sets and delivering clear, actionable reporting is highly valued.Responsibilities
- Lead the quarterly forecasting process, including full three-statement financial models (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow)
- Assist with short- and medium-term cash flow forecasting and liquidity analysis
- Build and maintain financial models for forward planning and scenario analysis
- Prepare and distribute KPI and profitability reports across the European business
- Manage large and often incomplete data sets, identifying issues and opportunities for improvement
- Drive enhancements in data inputs and reporting processes in collaboration with finance, IT, and operations
- Translate financial data into actionable recommendations for non-finance stakeholders
- Assist with financial evaluation and integration planning for acquisitions across Europe
- Support wider FP&A initiatives, including the implementation of new consolidation and budgeting systems and reporting frameworks at group level
Key Requirements
- Solid FP&A experience, ideally in a multi-entity or international environment
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, including three-statement modelling
- Comfortable working with large and messy datasets with strong attention to detail
- Experience with VBA and SQL for data handling and automation
- Background in a Private Equity-backed business is a plus
- Proactive, analytical, and committed to continuous improvement
