We’re working on an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a fast-paced business operating at the heart of sport, events, and entertainment. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Central London, with a hybrid working pattern, and a salary of up to £65,000.
You will be working closely with senior stakeholders, supporting high-profile live events and joint ventures, and managing all aspects of finance – from management reporting and budgeting to event profitability, audit, and tax compliance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Month-end accounting, reconciliations, and reporting to a US parent company
- Delivering monthly management packs with clear financial insights and variance analysis
- Leading annual budgeting and regular reforecasting cycles
- Managing full event finance lifecycle – from pre-event budgeting to post-event profitability analysis
- Overseeing payment runs, supplier onboarding, and talent payments
- Handling joint venture partner billing and profit share reconciliations
- Managing payroll, audit, and international tax compliance
- Supporting the Finance Director and wider business with ad hoc projects
What you’ll need:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
- Experience in a Finance Manager or senior Management Accountant role
- Background in sport, events, or entertainment is a plus
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle)
