An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager to join a well-established, listed organisation during a critical reporting period.
This is a highly visible role requiring an individual with proven PLC reporting experience, capable of operating at pace while managing multiple stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering both the year-end annual report and accounts and half-year reporting cycle, whilst supporting wider financial reporting projects and business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the Group's statutory and PLC reporting timetable.
- Manage the preparation and delivery of year-end and half-year financial reports.
- Take ownership of the month-end consolidation process and Group reporting activities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and listing requirements.
- Act as the central point of coordination for reporting workstreams across Finance and the wider business.
- Partner with Executive leadership teams to gather, challenge and refine reporting content.
- Work closely with Investor Relations, Marketing and Communications teams to support external reporting deliverables.
- Manage reporting projects, ensuring deadlines are met within a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Liaise with external auditors and key internal stakeholders throughout the reporting cycle.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across Group Financial Reporting.
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Proven experience within a listed/PLC environment.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering annual and interim reports for a publicly listed business.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting expertise.
- Experience managing month-end consolidation processes within a group structure.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfortable operating in a high-profile environment with exposure to senior executives.
- Resilient, pragmatic and confident in challenging situations, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships.
- Able to start at short notice or immediately available.
