Our client based in Bury St Edmunds wants to recruit a proven FP&A Analyst on a 12-month fixed-term contract. The Role Reporting to the Head of FP&A, you will play a key role in providing insightful financial analysis and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Deliverables:
- Supporting the budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes
- Producing meaningful financial analysis and management reporting
- Partnering with operational and commercial teams to understand business performance and identify opportunities
- Developing financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives
- Analysing trends, risks and opportunities to improve business performance
- Preparing monthly performance packs and executive-level presentations
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within finance and reporting processes
- Assisting with month-end activities and variance analysis
The Right Candidate:
- Experience within FP&A, commercial finance or business partnering roles
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) either qualified, part-qualified or qualified by experience
- A proactive and adaptable approach with a desire to improve processes and drive performance
