Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Carpet/Floor Fitter. The Carpet/Floor Fitter will be responsible for measuring and cutting floor materials, laying carpet, vinyl, wood, and other types of flooring. The role includes tasks such as preparing subfloor surfaces, removing old flooring, applying adhesives, and ensuring proper alignment and fit of flooring materials. Additionally, the role involves ensuring work area cleanliness and safety, and providing excellent customer service to clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in measuring, cutting, and fitting various flooring materials
• Knowledge of floor preparation techniques and adhesive application
• Skills in using hand and power tools specific to flooring installation
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Previous experience in flooring installation or a related field is preferred
• Valid driver\’s license and reliable transportation
