We are a well respected independent optician, providing high levels of clinical service and eye care to our patients. We stock an extensive range of designer eyewear in our successful and long established optical practice. Relevant experience is welcomed - this role could be an exciting opportunity for a new career in optics for the successful candidate. The position of Optical Receptionist could be well suited if you are a candidate with a history of working in Optical, Medical or Dental administration.

Job requirements:

  • Good communication skills with people of all age groups and backgrounds
  • A friendly, helpful and caring personality with a positive attitude
  • Style and image awareness
  • Flexibility to work both alone and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
  • Experience in customer service or a healthcare environment with administration skills preferable
  • Education to a good GCSE standard or above

Salary: dependent on experience

Hours: 5 days over a 6 day week which must include regular Saturdays. No Sundays.
