Optical Receptionist We are a well respected independent optician, providing high levels of clinical service and eye care to our patients.
We stock an extensive range of designer eyewear in our successful and long established optical practice.

The position of Optical Receptionist could be well suited if you are a candidate with a history of working in Optical, Medical or Dental administration.

Hours: 5 days over a 6 day week which must include regular Saturdays. No Sundays or Bank Holidays

Your role as an Optical Receptionist will demonstrate
- A good level of experience in administrative and organisational duties including filing.
- A good level of reliability, punctuality and loyalty.
- A willingness to learn new tasks and processes quickly and accurately.
- Training will be given to the suitable candidate to allow them to complete spectacle repairs, adjustments, and advise patients with regards to spectacles and possibly dispense in the future.
- An enthusiastic, energetic and a positive approach to work.
- Excellent patient service skills.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- The ability to follow direction and instruction in a constructive manner.
- Efficiency and accuracy in all work tasks.
- A good level of maths skill.

- Excellent computer literacy especially with Microsoft applications and online services.

- Be able to play your part within the team, working together and taking action to help and support colleagues to deliver the best for customers and patients
- The role will include all duties expected of a person working in a Reception role to aid the partners in the smooth running of the practice.
