Brosgill Opticians, Pontefract are hoping to recruit a motivated individual with good interpersonal skills to join our Administration team in the position of Part Time Receptionist . The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience in administration/reception roles, preferably within a medical setting. However, full training will be provided in relation to the role being applied for. You will be expected to have good communication skills dealing with a wide range of patients, providing a caring service with exceptional attention to detail. Skills required include proficient use of IT including Microsoft Windows and Office with full training being given for specific software required for the role. The candidate will be expected to be able to cope with working under pressure, using their initiative to assist in the smooth running of the practice. The role includes booking clinical diaries, dealing with patient paperwork, general practice administration and other tasks that would be expected of a person working in the role of Optician\’s Receptionist. The role is Part Time of 3 to 4 days per week depending on the candidate. The days employed must include regular Saturdays and there will also be a requirement for the successful applicant being required to provide holiday cover for other staff members.
