Your Tasks

  • Oversee production planning and performance to meet customer requirements, including managing personnel, equipment, and KPIs like cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Manage the annual budget with a view of exceeding the annual goal.
  • Support and drive continuous improvement activities to optimise equipment and processes.
  • Support cross‑functional collaboration for new product introductions and ensure timely, high‑quality customer deliveries.
  • Manage team development, including recruitment, training, motivation, and supporting any HR matters.
  • Ensure effective communication and compliance, covering company policies, health and safety, and standard work practices.
  • Deputise for other team leaders and their production areas as required.

Your Profile

  • Technical apprenticeship plus HNC or equivalent in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience in a high‑pressure production environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Passionate, driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Must currently hold a permanent right to work in the UK without restriction or sponsorship requirements.
