Your Tasks

  • Ensure full compliance with UK customs regulations, international trade laws, and export control requirements.
  • Implement and maintain UK commodity codes (tariff classifications) and coordinate their integration into global systems.
  • Manage preferential trade agreements (e.g. rules of origin under UK and international trade agreements) in collaboration with OEMs and suppliers.
  • Oversee export control processes in line with UK and international regulations.
  • Assess customs and trade implications for imports, serial production, and relocation projects, identifying risks and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Obtain Long-Term Supplier Declarations (LTSDs) from suppliers and issue origin declarations to customers.
  • Prepare and manage all import and export processes using internal customs and trade compliance systems.
  • Work closely with central logistics, external brokers, and relevant authorities such as HM Revenue.
