Your tasks
- Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) using PC-DMIS (2019 onwards).
- Plan and perform annual internal and external re-qualification measurements to support the product testing plan.
- Conduct CMM measurements for PSW submissions, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and project timelines.
- Support the Goods Inwards Testing Plan by performing measurements and recording results in SAP.
- Carry out internal PPAP measurement according to specifications and timing schedules.
- Provide accurate measurement data to support problem resolution and statistical analysis.
- Communicate with technical personnel from customers and suppliers as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to health & safety, quality, environmental standards, and ethics.
- Complete additional tasks as required to support quality and production targets.
Your Profile
- HNC or higher qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
- 2–3 years of relevant experience in a metrology or quality engineering role.
- Proven expertise in CMM programming and operation, particularly using PC-DMIS is a must.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Familiar with statistical methods and skilled in preparing detailed measurement reports.
- Knowledge of problem-solving tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, and FMEA.
- Comfortable using basic measurement equipment and working with SAP modules for Goods Receiving and Vendor Management.
- PC literate, with good command of Microsoft Office tools.
- Team player with strong communication skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
