Registered Nurse on Bank at Broomgrove Trust Nursing Home
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Broomgrove Trust Nursing Home for the position of Registered Nurse on Bank who possesses a genuine commitment to providing high quality nursing care within our care setting. Our Clinical Nurse manager and the other nurses on duty are always available to help (on each shift there is a minimum of 2 nurses for our 40-bed unit).
About You
- Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC pin (minimum 3 years experience)
- Strong clinical skills

- Drive and focus to provide excellent customer service and quality of care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience and an up to date understanding of care service practices, legislation, regulations and standards
Responsibilities
- Maintaining accurate, complete healthcare records and reports
- Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions
- Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments
- Recording patient vital signs and medical information into Predicaire system (electronically)
- Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests
- Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Administering non-intravenous medications
- Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members
- Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses
Hours and Contract
Bank RGN – zero hours contract. Shift options: 7:30 – 15:00, 14:30 – 22:00, or a double shift 7:30 – 22:00 for more days off every week. Two vacancies available.
