As a Senior Software Engineer on our Platform team, you'll have the opportunity to influence our technological evolution, moving from established C#/.
NET systems to modern Type Script, Node. js, and AWS-native architectures.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven expertise in Type Script and Node. js backend development, with experience designing exceptional APIs and data integrations.
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, particularly AWS, including serverless and event-driven systems.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code practices for deploying and managing cloud environments.
- Strong experience with relational databases like SQL, data modelling, and large-scale data processing.
- Practical knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and observability best practices.
- Familiarity with modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code or Open AI Codex, and the ability to integrate AI into software workflows responsibly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills in diagnosing complex issues across applications and infrastructure.
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of systems, and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with C# and . NET, particularly in modernising existing software.
- Knowledge of AWS services like Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, API Gateway.
