We are currently seeking multiple Backend Software Engineers to join an exciting and fast-growing technology team building large-scale connectivity and integration solutions for a global digital platform. This role sits within a newly established engineering function focused on creating seamless integrations between external providers and internal systems, helping accelerate onboarding and improve platform reliability. You’ll work on modern backend services, integrations, APIs, and cloud-native infrastructure while collaborating with product and operational teams to deliver scalable technical solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Designing and developing backend services using Java/Kotlin and modern frameworks.
- Building and maintaining integrations with external APIs and partner systems.
- Developing scalable services handling product data, availability, reservations, and real-time updates.
- Improving system reliability through monitoring, observability, and resilience engineering.
- Working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a collaborative agile environment.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong backend engineering experience using Java and/or Kotlin.
- Experience building and consuming REST APIs and integrating external systems.
- Knowledge of distributed systems, resilience patterns, and scalable architectures.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Database experience (MySQL or similar) and messaging/event-driven technologies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in cross-functional teams.
