As an Engineer specialising in Agentic AI, you’ll design and deliver AI-driven systems that can reason, plan, and act across complex financial processes. Your work will focus on creating dependable AI agents that support decision-making, automation, and insight across core banking, operations, risk, compliance, and customer services. This role blends engineering excellence and practical AI.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design and build agentic AI systems capable of multi-step reasoning and task execution
- Develop AI agents that interact securely with banking platforms, data sources, and internal tools
- Integrate large language models with traditional software, rules engines, and financial logic
- Ensure AI systems operate within regulatory, risk, and governance frameworks
- Work closely with technology, product, risk, and compliance teams to deliver practical outcomes
- Build reliable, well-tested, and observable systems suitable for production banking environments
- Monitor and improve agent behaviour using clear metrics, controls, and human oversight
- Contribute to standards around AI safety, explainability, and responsible use
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in software engineering (Python and/or other backend languages)
- Hands-on experience building LLM-enabled or AI-assisted systems
- Solid understanding of APIs, system integration, and secure data handling
- Experience working in financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a delivery-focused, customer centric team
Desirable Experience
- Experience designing agent-based or workflow-driven AI systems
- Knowledge of banking operations, payments, lending, fraud, or compliance processes
