Global HRIS Manager (Workday)
Location: United Kingdom or Europe
100% remote working
The Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Manager, HRIS to lead the ongoing management of our global HR systems, with a primary focus on Workday. This role is responsible for the daily operations, vendor management, and optimization of Workday, while also taking a lead role in evaluating the future of our HRIS ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep operational knowledge of Workday, strong project management skills, and the ability to collaborate across geographies and departments.
Key Accountabilities
- Serve as the global owner of Workday
- Lead the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Workday modules.
- Oversee HRIS operations and vendor relationships
- Manage ticketing, release planning, issue resolution, and serve as the main contact for our Workday maintenance partner
- Lead HRIS system review and strategy
- Drive a comprehensive review of i-PROβs current HRIS platform and architecture, including evaluating whether to enhance Workday or transition to a new solution.
- Manage Workday licensing and contracts
- Administer licensing, renewals, and contract negotiations, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
- Own HRIS budget planning and forecasting
- Develop, monitor, and report on HRIS budgets, including vendor costs, license usage, and improvement projects.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders
- Partner with HR, IT, and regional leaders across time zones to align system functionality with business and compliance needs.
Must
- 5β7+ years of HRIS experience with extensive Workday expertise
- Strong experience in HR technology strategy, system evaluation, or vendor transitions
- Proven ability to manage global system operations and external vendors
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
