Head of Regulatory Reporting β UK Retail Bank | London | Hybrid | Excellent Benefits + Leadership Opportunity
Are you a senior regulatory finance professional looking to shape and lead a high-performing team in a dynamic and values-driven environment? A UK Retail Bank is seeking a Head of Regulatory Reporting to oversee their regulatory reporting function and ensure full compliance with evolving financial regulations.
This is a leadership role with genuine influence, responsible for building and managing a team of 15+ professionals and working closely with the Finance Director and Executive Team. You will play a key role in strategic decision-making, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
The Role: As Head of Regulatory Reporting, you will be accountable for all aspects of regulatory reporting including:
- Oversight of COREP, FINREP, Liquidity and other PRA, BoE and FCA submissions
- Managing a team of 15+ , both onshore and offshore
- Leading on Regulatory Policy, Interpretation and Change
- Deputising for the Finance Director on regulatory matters
- Supporting strategic bank-wide initiatives including new product launches and capital management
- Driving automation and continuous improvement of reporting processes
- Championing data quality and control frameworks
- Influencing regulatory reporting strategy and governance
What Weβre Looking For:
- Significant experience in regulatory reporting within a financial institution
- Proven leadership in managing large regulatory or finance teams
- Excellent understanding of regulatory frameworks (PRA, FCA, BoE)
- Expertise in COREP, FINREP, Liquidity Reporting, ICAAP and related returns
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at senior level
- A hands-on leader who can influence, mentor, and drive performance
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or QBE) (Preferred, non essential)
