At Brookvale Groby we are looking for a reliable, proactive Casual Lettings Premises Officer(s) to join our site team. Your primary focus will be to oversee the security, safety, and smooth operation of our premises during evening and weekend lettings. You will act as the face of the venue for external hirers, community groups, and sports clubs.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Security: Opening and closing the premises, setting alarms, and ensuring the site is secure after events.
- Customer Service: Greeting hirers, showing them to their allocated spaces, and answering any queries on-site.
- Set Up & Down: Arranging furniture, staging, or sports equipment as per booking requirements.
- Maintenance & Cleanliness: Ensuring facilities are kept clean, tidy, and hygienic during and after bookings.
- Safety Compliance: Monitoring health and safety on-site, acting as the designated emergency point of contact, and ensuring lone working policies are followed.
What We Are Looking For
- Previous experience in caretaking, facilities management, or customer service is preferred, but training can be offered.
- A flexible attitude to working shifts (predominantly evenings and weekends).
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional manner when dealing with the public.
- Ability to work independently as a lone worker.
Hourly rate: £14.29 + 12.07% enhanced casual holiday pay = £16.01 (weekdays)
Hourly rate: £19.00 + 12.07% enhanced casual holiday pay = £21.30 (weekends)
These are casual hours which are set to meet the needs of the school.
