We are recruiting for a Sales Administrator to join the wider sales department.

Please note that this role requires office-based working, five days per week, for the first six months to ensure a successful onboarding and training period.

The role

We are seeking an organised and customer-focused Sales Administrator to support our sales team.

The successful candidate will help process customers, maintain accurate records, prepare sales documents, and respond to routine customer enquiries.

This role would be well suited to someone with strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and an interest in developing a career in sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email, providing initial information and escalating more complex queries to senior team members where required.
  • Prepare sales documentation, including illustrations, invoices and contracts.
  • Maintain customer records and update sales information within the CRM system.
  • Provide administrative support to Sales Representatives and the Sales Manager.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments and assist with the organisation of sales events.
  • Manage the sales administration inbox and forward enquiries to the appropriate team member.
  • Support the Sales Manager with general administrative duties.
  • Carry out outbound calls to customers to introduce Brookson's services and identify opportunities.
  • Develop an understanding of the customer journey and internal sales processes.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous administrative, retail, sales, or customer-service experience or the confidence and willingness to develop these skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a busy environment.
  • Willingness to learn sales systems and CRM software.
