We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive GP to join our multi-disciplinary team for 4-5 sessions per week.

What we are looking for:
- Motivated individuals with a positive, proactive approach to general practice
- Ability to work as part of a team and sharing the workload with colleagues
- Ability to manage clinical uncertainty and risk in own clinical practice and whilst potentially supervising a team of allied health professionals
Main duties of the job:
- Provide medical services for the practice population to a high standard, including day-to-day activities such as surgery consultations, telephone advice, telephone consultations and home visits and appropriate administration to ensure accurate records, patient continuity and quality of care.
- Comply with the requirements of the practices General Medical Services/Personal Medical Services (GMS/PMS) contract, Enhanced Services contracts, educational/training delivery contracts and private contracts.
- Adhere to the principles of good medical practice.

The Practice serves approximately 31,000 patients from our 4 surgeries in Earley, Lower Earley, Winnersh and Wilderness Road. Due to our size, we value communication and teamwork. We operate a strongly relational team structure and endeavour to listen well, encourage ownership and involvement and enable staff to grow in their individual development. We, therefore, spend a lot of time investing in team meetings and communication across the organisation. We are a member of Berkshire West Clinical Commissioning Group. We have won the HSJ (Health Services Journal) Digital Award for our innovative work we've done to refine our triage processes and model of care.

Job responsibilities:
We are a training practice, use the EMIS Clinical system and have a strong emphasis on proactive teamwork. There is the possibility for you to be involved in group consultations and lifestyle medicine should you wish to be. The successful candidate will work as part of the clinical team and be responsible for providing a high level of service to our patients.
