The Team Administrator sits within the Centralised Front Office Administration team and delivers administrative service and support to Investment Managers, clients, introducers and responds to requests from supporting functions. This is achieved by having a clear and precise understanding of all the processes and procedures that are undertaken within the administrative team.
Role Responsibilities:
- Open, scan, and save incoming post to client files
- Respond to client and introducer queries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
- Manage workflow queues and action requests efficiently
- Initiate outgoing transfers and account closures
- Support clientsβ families, estates, and solicitors throughout the full bereavement process
- Instruct internal transfers of cash and stock between portfolios
- Process client payment instructions, including arranging call-backs where necessary
- Update client KYC data and make account amendments as required
- Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills
- Build and maintain relationships with introducers, their paraplanning teams, and clients
- Consistently perform duties in line with the FCA Conduct Rules and expected behaviours
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Team Administrator within Wealth or Investment Management is preferred, though not essential
- Strong interest in and understanding of the financial services industry
- Excellent organisational, planning, and prioritisation skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Confident in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, Professional Advisers, Investment Managers, product providers, and internal teams
- Familiarity with key bereavement processes is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrates ownership and accountability in completing tasks
- Energetic and passionate about delivering positive outcomes for advisers and clients
- Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic
