Brooks Macdonald are looking for a Salesforce System Administrator to join our Sales Enablement team in London.
We are in the infancy of utilising the Salesforce platform and we are looking to build out our support model and skill set in house, as well as our future roadmap in line with business requirements.
The Salesforce System Administrator will possess a good understanding of the platform and understand both our current setup and business objectives to quickly identify areas of improvement. They should be comfortable with change management and governance, as well as communicating, prioritising, and managing their workload. The ideal candidate will be happy liaising with stakeholders at all levels, with the ability to translate technical information into less complex terms and clearly explain design options and their potential impact.
Role Responsibilities:
- Support with all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup and deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups and sharing rules
- Responsible for Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to) Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports
- Work with Salesforce Product owner on business requirements, proposing technical solutions and ensuring best practice is applied
- Ensure structured framework and processes used to manage and control the development, testing, and deployment of applications and configuration
- Ensure Salesforce is kept ‘clean’ by monitoring and managing duplicate data, unused reports, unused fields
- Assume responsibility for consumption of Release Notes and impact of updates to business processes
- Assume responsibility for Sandbox environment management
- Ensure all user queries regarding Salesforce are prioritised and attended to in a timely manner
- Coordinate, as required, to resolve system issues, identify trends and root causes, develop plans for long term remediation of repeat issues, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver in an appropriate timeframe
- Assist with ‘Salesforce Champion’ training and support
- Create knowledge share resources and work with both Tech Services and Front Office development team to build out skill sets in-house
- Perform role always ensuring adherence to the expected behaviours stated in the FCA Conduct Rules
Experience Required:
- Holder of Salesforce Admin Certification
- Demonstrable Salesforce System Admin experience, ideally within Financial Services
- A proactive attitude towards platform enhancements and a desire to implement best practice solutions
- Enthusiasm for continued personal and professional development
- Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to analyse, interpret and assimilate information
