Due to ongoing company growth we have a vacancy for a Welder. We believe in continuous improvement, and strive to provide our customers with well manufactured, quality products. As a Welder / Fabricator with us at Brooks Engineering, you will be responsible for welding and fabricating a variety of products, including structural steelwork, vehicle components and bespoke customer requests.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Marking up of material.
- Fabrication of a variety of materials.
- Welding of aluminium, mild and stainless steels.
- MIG / TIG Welding.
- Operating machinery and hand tools.
- Assembly of products and vehicle bodies.
- Maintaining a clean work area and following all safety regulations.
- Suggesting and implementing ways to improve processes.
The successful applicant must have a positive 'can-do' attitude and show a keen eye to detail. Be self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management and a full UK driving license are also essential. Previous experience working for a Lean thinking company is advantageous but not necessary.
