We are looking to appoint a Food and Beverage Manager to oversee F&B operations in our new and busy delicatessen and wine bar in the heart of Mickleover just outside Derby. The role involves ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and profitability are met. This role involves managing staff, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction and retention. The role is a full-time position based at our Mickleover premises, hours of work will be from 4pm until close Wednesday – Sunday with Monday & Tuesday off. The suitable candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the hospitality industry. A good knowledge and a passion for both cheese and wine would be preferred. Rates of pay dependent on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Oversee the on floor and front of house management and deliverables of the evening food & beverage offerings. Ensure smooth daily operations and maintain consistent service standards. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Customer Service & Quality Control: Ensure an exceptional guest experience through consistent service excellence. Monitor guest feedback and take corrective actions when necessary. Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise F&B team members. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Compliance & Safety: Enforce compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol regulations. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in delivery of F&B products.
