A reputable law firm in Maidstone is looking for a Legal Secretary to join their Family team. This individual will be responsible for supporting fee earners within the team with secretarial duties, including but not limited to:
- Answering calls, taking clear and precise messages and passing them on to the relevant fee earner.
- Administration to include daily filing, typing, responsibility for client files, photocopying, scanning, preparing mail and enclosures, and arranging client visits.
- Arranging appointments, booking meeting rooms, and coordinating fee-earners' calendars.
- Ensuring the confidentiality of all the firm’s and client documentation and information.
About you
- You will be proficient in Word, Outlook, Excel, and other packages that may be relevant to the role.
- Previous experience as a legal secretary, preferably within family law, but experience from all other practice areas will be considered.
- You must possess a high level of organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- You will be positive and professional, work well under pressure, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
