We are currently looking for a full time Static Security Officer to join our expanding team in Bar Hill, Cambridge. Ideal candidates will demonstrate a high level of professionalism and excellent customer service skills. Previous security experience is required but full training will be provided.
Working Hours
This role includes night shifts and weekend work: Monday - Thursday, Friday - Sunday.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must hold a valid Frontline Security Guarding or Door Supervision Licence
- Excellent customer service skills
- Assertiveness and confidence to deal with adhoc situations
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as being a team player
- Competent using CCTV and other monitoring equipment
- Candidate must be computer literate
- Candidate must live close to site
Responsibilities
- Access control duties
- Maintain the safety and security of the premises by conducting regular security patrols and checks in accordance with Assignment Instructions, Standard Operating Procedures and Premises Security Manual
- Secure and open the premises as part of daily operational procedures
- Ensure all health and safety policies are adhered to
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably required
