Brooklyn Recruitment is currently offering an exciting opportunity for a Technical Support Engineer / Product Development Engineer / Design Engineer in the Chasetown area, near Staffordshire / West Midlands. This role is with a well-established company that maintains a family-oriented atmosphere.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with clients and internal departments regarding specifications and regulations.
- Reading and modifying technical drawings.
- Creating and compiling technical data specifications for internal and external use.
- Responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
- Preparing drawings using AutoCAD.
- Supporting the technical team with advice and expertise.
- Participating in product development activities.
- Preparing tool drawings.
- Conducting site visits as needed.
- Performing other duties as required.
The company manufactures products for the roofing industry, so experience and knowledge in roofing and construction would be highly beneficial. Candidates should have an engineering degree and be proficient in AutoCAD. Previous experience in a customer-facing role and comfort with heights are also important, as site visits are part of the role.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:45 am to 5:00 pm, and Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. In return, you will receive a competitive salary, a generous bonus scheme, onsite parking, and additional benefits.
