Brooklyn Recruitment currently have an exciting role available in the Cannock area for a Production Engineer / Electrical Engineer within the electrical manufacturing sector. This role would suit someone with extensive electrical / control panel experience within a manufacturing environment dealing with projects from cradle to grave.
This company has an excellent working environment with the building being light, bright and clean. You would be joining an 11 strong Team Leading team so have lots of others to bounce ideas off etc. The company has a total workforce of around 200 but they still have a family friendly feel to it, where everyone is known by name and you even get your birthday off!
As Production Engineer / Electrical Engineer you will be:
- Supporting the NPI process.
- Converting drawings to point to point.
- Driving continuous improvement activities through SQCDP.
- Building relationships with your assigned customers.
- Ensuring compliance to regulations.
- Being technically responsible for your assigned new products.
- Approving production hours.
- Ensuring the accuracy of BOM’s.
- Keeping customers updated on any timescales or issues.
- Ensuring Health and Safety measures are adhered to.
- Dealing with any quality concerns.
- Confirming customer acceptance.
- Recording downtime and finding ways to limit it.
- Other duties as required.
The working hours for this role are excellent: Mon – Thurs 8am – 5.15pm, Fri 8am – 12pm.
