Brooklyn Recruitment currently have an exciting role available in the Cannock area for a Project Engineer / Project Manager within the electrical manufacturing sector. This role would suit someone with experience within a manufacturing environment; electrical manufacturing would be ideal but isnβt essential.
This company has an excellent working environment with a light, bright and clean building. The company has a total workforce of around 200 but they still have a family friendly feel, where everyone is known by name and you even get your birthday off!
Responsibilities- Driving continuous improvement activities through SQCDP.
- Taking projects from cradle to grave.
- Generating and adhering to the project plan.
- Building relationships with your assigned customers.
- Keeping customers updated on any timescales or issues.
- Ensuring health and safety measures are adhered to.
- Dealing with any quality concerns.
- Meeting project deadlines.
- Managing the project's budgets.
- Updating the system.
- Other duties as required.
The working hours for this role are: Mon - Thurs 8am - 5.15pm; Fri 8am - 12pm.
Qualifications and experienceTo be suitable for this role you should have previous experience in a project engineering role within a production / manufacturing environment. This experience would ideally have been gained within the electrical sector, but all backgrounds would be considered. A Prince2 qualification would be desirable, but experience is more important.
