This role would suit someone with extensive electrical/control panel experience within a manufacturing environment as well as excellent management skills.
This company has an excellent working environment with the building being light, bright and clean. You would be leading a team of 11 Engineers. The company has a total workforce of around 200 but they still have a family-friendly feel to it, where everyone is known by name and you even get your birthday off!
As Engineering Manager you will be:
- Leading the Engineering team.
- Developing the engineering strategy for the company.
- Overseeing the design of products.
- Ensuring full compliance with electrical safety standards.
- Leading continuous improvement activities through SQCDP.
- Optimising manufacturing processes.
- Allocating engineering resources.
- Ensuring Health and Safety measures are adhered to.
- Supporting the sales team with any technical information.
- Dealing with any quality concerns.
- Providing labour estimates for products.
- Reviewing actual build costs.
- Working with the procurement team.
- Other duties as required.
The working hours for this Engineering Manager’s role are excellent: Mon – Thurs 8am – 5.15pm, Fri 8am – 12pm.
