BROOKLYN RECRUITMENT currently have an exciting role available in the Cannock area for a Production Team Leader / Manufacturing Team Leader within the electrical manufacturing sector. This role would suit someone with extensive team leading / shift supervising experience within a manufacturing environment; electrical manufacturing would be ideal but isn’t essential.
This company has an excellent working environment with the building being light, bright and clean. You would be joining a 6 strong Team Leading team and you would be responsible for 15 – 30 staff in your section. The company has a total workforce of around 200 but they still have a family friendly feel to it, where everyone is known by name and you even get your birthday off!
As Production Team Leader / Manufacturing Team Leader you will be:
- Driving continuous improvement activities through SQCDP
- Building relationships with your assigned customers
- Keeping customers updated on any timescales or issues
- Ensuring Health and Safety measures are adhered to
- Dealing with any quality concerns
- Recording downtime and finding ways to limit it
- Rewarding team performance
- Highlighting any areas of coaching that need addressing
- Monitoring absence
- Leading by example
- Other duties as required
The working hours for this role are excellent: Mon – Thurs 7am – 5pm.
