Freight Operator – Haulage – Logistics – Burton Brooklyn Recruitment are currently working with a Haulage / Logistics company based in the Burton-upon-Trent area of Staffordshire to recruit a Freight Operator for their International division. In this role as Freight Operator, you will be: * Ensuring that the fleet of walking floor trailers maintain profitability. * Receiving customers’ orders and inputting them into the system. * Matching the orders to a transport solution. * Communicating the schedule and any special circumstances such as PPE or security procedures. * Where applicable working with the customs department. * Flagging any non-conformance issues. * Other duties as required. To be suitable for this Freight Operator’s role you should have previous operator’s experience within the freight sector and be an excellent communicator. In return for your hard work as Freight Operator you will be rewarded with a generous salary and bonus scheme, fantastic working environment, pension and lots more. The hours of work are Mon – Fri 8.30am – 5.30pm.
