We are looking to recruit an amazing full time teacher with expertise to work with children and young people who have complex and multiple learning difficulties. We welcome ECT applicants. The post will commence November 2026 and is expected to end July 2027.

Broklands is a specialist school, providing high quality education for pupils with a wide range of complex needs. Our pupils are aged from 4 – 19. We pride ourselves in recognising the specialist talents and skills that our pupils bring to our community, and with great knowledge and expertise, we work to ensure they achieve all that they can.

You will need the ability to develop excellent relationships with pupils and the skills for delivering interesting and fun learning through a personalised child centred approach.

The Governors wish to appoint a motivated and potentially outstanding class teacher to join a committed, hard-working and experienced team of staff. This position offers great variety, and will give you the chance to experience a multitude of different educational needs. You will be working with students with complex and challenging difficulties, helping them to overcome both educational and personal barriers.

You will work closely with other teachers in creating unique and creative approaches to learning for students, in order to increase engagement and achievement for all students. This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in a unique learning environment with a friendly and skilled team of staff, who work hard to secure achievement for all of their pupils.

Appropriate induction and CPD will be provided to the successful candidate.
