About the Role

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide high-quality pastoral and emotional support for pupils
  • Deliver targeted interventions (e.g. ELSA, Zones of Regulation, nurture and SEMH support)
  • Support pupils with a range of needs including anxiety, friendship difficulties and emotional regulation
  • Act as a visible and approachable adult for pupils across school
  • Support pupils who find transitions challenging, including at the start of the school day
  • Work proactively with families to ensure a joined-up approach to wellbeing
  • Contribute to a strong whole-school culture of mental health and inclusion
  • Lead and promote wellbeing across the school, supporting staff and contributing to a consistent, inclusive approach
