About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Provide high-quality pastoral and emotional support for pupils
- Deliver targeted interventions (e.g. ELSA, Zones of Regulation, nurture and SEMH support)
- Support pupils with a range of needs including anxiety, friendship difficulties and emotional regulation
- Act as a visible and approachable adult for pupils across school
- Support pupils who find transitions challenging, including at the start of the school day
- Work proactively with families to ensure a joined-up approach to wellbeing
- Contribute to a strong whole-school culture of mental health and inclusion
- Lead and promote wellbeing across the school, supporting staff and contributing to a consistent, inclusive approach
