The Role

As Café Cook, you’ll be at the heart of our food operation - preparing and delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. You’ll work primarily in our café, ensuring food is consistently well‑prepared, efficiently served, and aligned with our high standards of quality and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook fresh food for our café and busy event days
  • Deliver a simple, quality-led menu efficiently during peak periods
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well‑organised kitchen
  • Support stock control, ordering and minimising food waste
  • Ensure all allergen and food safety standards are met
  • Work closely with the Café Manager on daily menus and operations
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and great visitor experience

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in a fast‑paced kitchen or café environment
  • Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen standards
  • Ability to stay calm and organised under pressure
  • A proactive, team‑focused attitude

  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Qualifications

  • Food Safety Level 2 (minimum) required
  • Food Safety Level 3 (desirable)
