Placement Officer (Construction) – 37 hours per week (Fixed-Term until July 2027)
£29,772.59 (BRK26) - Weybridge Campus based with some travel to Ashford.

The Placement Officer is an integral role within the college. The Placement Officer will manage the end-to-end administration, setup, coordination, and progress tracking of industry placements for Construction Industry Placement Funding Grant.
About the role:
As the Placement Officer, you will be required to establish links with external organisations and employers to maximise opportunities for students to participate in meaningful work placements.
Your role will involve, but will not be limited to:
- Secure placements for Construction students
- Support curriculum managers with their employer engagement activities
- Provide employers with information, advice and guidance
- Visiting students & employers on work placements
- Provide reports and statistics
To fulfil the role of Placement Officer you will have:
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Highly adaptable and student focussed
- Ability to use own initiative and work with minimum supervision
- Level 2 English & Maths
- Experience of working in further education and progression pathways a distinct advantage
