The post holder will be responsible for tracking the delivery and developments of apprenticeships, workplace learning and other contracts against training plans, which includes the specific monitoring and tracking of the apprenticeship journey.
About the role:
The Apprenticeships Review Officer will be responsible for working in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. The post holder will need to be confident in organising and supporting all employer activities for the department, as well as leading the provision of Additional Learning Support (ALS) and driving student participation and personal development alignment under the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework (EIF).
Your role will involve, but will not be limited to:
- To effectively monitor and track a caseload of approximately 80 apprentices, managing the day-to-day delivery of training, and assessment for apprentices, trainees, and workplace learners, ensuring that all are regularly reviewed, monitored, and documented in accordance with ESFA contractual requirements.
- Plan, coordinate, and conduct progress reviews, inductions, focus groups, and provide appropriate information, advice, and guidance for a caseload of approximately 80 apprentices across specific apprenticeship programmes, including funding eligibility.
- Coordination, and delivery of Additional Learning Support (ALS) within the apprenticeship team, ensuring early identification of learning needs, implementation of reasonable adjustments, robust tracking, and compliance with ESFA funding rules.
To fulfil the role of Apprenticeships Review Officer you will have:
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Highly adaptable and student focussed
- Ability to use own initiative and work with minimum supervision
- Level 2 English & Maths
- Level 3 qualification or 5 years experience in a coaching/mentoring role
- Experience of working in further education and and assessor qualification a distinct advantage
